The 1st annual Zulu's anniversary concert will be held at the Lynnwood Zulu's Board Game Cafe in the Dragon's Lair. It will feature local minstrels (musicians, singers, and songwriters) who have shared their gifts at the Music Monday Dragon's Lair open mics. These artists are combining their talents to bring a live performance of originals and cover songs to the weekend festivities on the 9th of August starting at seven o'clock in the evening. Covering a wide range of genres with some bardcore for good measure, they hope to enchant and delight the nobles, knights, and peasants of our great community. Come dance with the jesters, fairies, and muses, or just sing along. We look forward to celebrating Zulu's 1st birthday and this community through music

The Open Mic featured in the Dragon's Lair is home to bards, minstrels, mummers, and jesters, and an inclusive, supportive, and fun community of music lovers. Our patrons can experience or participate in clean music, spoken word, poetry, stand-up, and more, against a backdrop of gamer and geek culture lore in an inviting, chill, medieval setting. While there, guests can feast on delicious fare and sip on refreshing drinks, all while being serenaded by melodies that stir the soul and bring the room to life. Linger after the performances and join our inclusive free-style jam where you can request your favorite tune, and sing or play along. We hope you will join this fast-growing community of amazing people who love to celebrate life through the arts. Whether you're taking the stage or tapping your toes in the crowd, all are welcome!

If you’ve played Magic: The Gathering for long, you’ve probably lost a game to your own deck. Statistically speaking (and yes, we made up the stats), 36.1147% of all Magic: The Gathering games experience a loss of enjoyment from having your hand flooded by Land cards, pitching any joy you had at the outset into oblivion. It’s a problem that haunts even the best-built decks and can drain the fun out of what should’ve been a great match.

Now imagine a game where that never happens. No land flood. No mana screw. Just strategy, synergy, and pirate shenanigans.

Well, let me introduce you to the One Piece Trading Card Game.

Maybe you’ve seen One Piece pop up on Netflix, watched a few episodes or the live-action season, and thought to yourself, “Okay, I get the hype now.” But what you might not know is that the card game based on the series is one of the most refreshingly well-designed TCGs out there.

It takes the best elements of your favorite trading card games like deckbuilding, engaging combat, and meaningful decisions, wrapping them in a system that feels both familiar and entirely new. Turns are fast. Matches are tight. You win or lose by a single turn. Sometimes even a single counter. And every game feels like a mechanically unique duel between captains, not mana source RNG.

And the best part? The community at 2ulu’s is stacked with welcoming players, creative deckbuilders, and just enough chaos to make every Tuesday night feel like a party on the Grand Line.

So if you're looking for a game that’s deep, fast, and fun (without the heartbreak of top-decking yet another Land card), join us. We play One Piece. You should too.
